With global social distancing and self-isolation being advised, how can you access counselling?
Social distancing includes ways to stop or slow the spread of infectious diseases. It means less contact between you and other people. Self-isolation (self-quarantine) means you must stay at home for 14 days. You must self-isolate if you have COVID-19, or you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Online therapy and telephone counselling offers the same levels of support and confidentiality as meeting in person. It offers a solution to the many difficulties we find ourselves in.
Online counselling and psychotherapy is conducted using the internet allowing you to talk in real time. It allows you to access confidential and professional support. You do not need to be a tech genius, just have some basic computer skills.
If you are seeking support for yourself or someone you know during this time then please feel free to make contact with me. I have opened up more appointments to be able to offer you help.
